Made with air dry clay, acrylic and resin.

I start my brooches/magnets/hair clips with a quick sketch on a piece of cardboard. I cut the silhouette of the sketch I like and use it as a mold for my pieces. After I cut the shapes on the clay it’s time for me to wait for some days till the clay is completely dry. Once it’s dry I paint the pieces with acrylic paint. I like starting the first piece without planning the outcome, I generally like the design so I copy it in the rest of the pieces.

When the pieces are dry I coat them with resin, this resin dries with UV light. I dry them under the purple light for 20-30 min to make sure it is perfectly coated.
The last thing I do is attach the brooch with epoxy glue so it is solid and doesn’t break apart.
